How to Manage Collectibles in Tonkeeper

We're back with another installment of Education Hub! 🎓

Friends, let's explore updates to Collectibles management in the Tonkeeper wallet. Have a look at what you can do with your tokens and make the most of your collectibles! 💎

What are Collectibles?

Collectibles are one-of-a-kind tokens minted and stored on a blockchain and most often take the form of an NFT. They can be collected, stored, or traded.

Managing Collectibles in Tonkeeper Wallet

You can check all your collectibles in the ‘Collectibles’ tab where all the tokens you own are listed. If you have any spam tokens you don’t want visible in your wallet, the new functionality has been added in the new Tonkeeper wallet update, allowing users to customize the visibility of crypto and NFTs. This way, users can hide unverified tokens.

  1. Open the 'Collectibles' tab and tap the settings icon.
  2. Tap the minus sign to hide an NFT or a plus sign to unhide it.

Hidden assets will remain in your wallet but will no longer be visible in the app.

Sending NFTs

If you want to send an NFT to another person, do the following:

  1. Go to the 'Collectibles' tab.
  2. Choose the desired NFT and click 'Transfer'.
  3. Enter the wallet address or domain (like TON DNS), write a comment if needed, and press 'Continue'.
  4. Confirm the transaction.

Always double-check all the transaction information. Once the transaction is complete, you do not have a way to undo it.

How to make profit on Collectibles

If you want to monetize NFTs, your two main options are trading or renting out your tokens:

  • Trade NFTs on marketplaces: buy and sell collectibles on crypto marketplaces, such as Getgems and DAOLama. For Telegram usernames, check out Fragment marketplace.

Rent out NFTs: Marketplaces like DAOLama allow users to rent out their collectibles to other users.
